Equestrian Barn Help

Horse Barn labor needed.

  • Applicant must have experience around horses and working barn knowledge.
  • Must be able to safely lead and handle horses of different breeds and temperaments.
  • Required to lift objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Required to wear appropriate clothes and foot wear for safety reasons.
  • Must be comfortable cleaning horse stalls, paddocks and horse riding areas.

  • Responsible for stall cleaning, paddock cleaning, watering, feeding, turning-out and bringing in.
  • Also available for odd jobs such as, but not limited to, weed-wacking, fencing, putting in hay, and occasional grooming.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

    This is not a riding or training position.

    Part-time and Full-time available. Schedule will include some weekends.

    Market Associate

    Qualifications:
    • Possess experience and passion for interacting with the public.
    • Display strong communication skills with staff and the general public.
    • Display initiative, be a self-starter and able to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Knowledge of food preparation a plus.
    • Experience using a cash register and credit card authorization equipment a plus.
    • Ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds from the ground to over the head.
    • Be able to fill flexible work schedules including weekends and holidays.

    Job Description:
    • Greet visitors, answer questions accurately and offer assistance as visitors enter the Market.
    • Provide a welcoming atmosphere by interacting with visitors during their stay. Be friendly, polite, professional, open and available.
    • Answer the telephone within 3 rings if possible, identify yourself and your location and provide accurate information based on the request.
    • Accurately represent Pineland Farms. Become knowledgeable about the Pineland Farms mission, its facilities, staff, events and programs.
    • Assist Pineland Farms staff as needed.
    • Contribute ideas and comments to create a positive atmosphere of teamwork, common goals and cooperation.
    • Be available to work hours outside a regular schedule including training, staff meetings and special events.
    • Receive deliveries accurately. Prepare products for re-sale, pricing as directed.
    • Follow procedures for filing vendor information, packing slips, and invoices.
    • Maintain a neat and clean work area as directed. (i.e. washing dishes, tabletops and using cleaning equipment such as mops, vacuum cleaners, etc.)
    • Ring-up sales of merchandise returning change accurately and politely, offering a thank you for coming to the Market.
