Azimuth Check Foundation Mountain Bike Trip
Date and Time: Wednesday, July 27 – Friday, July 29. We will depart Pineland Farms on Wednesday, July 27 at 1:00 pm. We will return to Pineland Farms on Friday July 29 around 1pm. Participants driving directly should plan to arrive at AMC Highland Center NLT 5pm on Wednesday, July 27.

Description: This is an Azimuth Check sponsored cycling trip in collaboration with VAST. It will involve 2 days of cycling.On Wednesday afternoon, we will bike on the Mountain Division Trail (Fryburg NH segment) up to 8 miles on flat terrain. We will then continue our drive to the AMC Highland Center for dinner and overnight. The nextmorning, we will bike the Franconia Notch Recreation Trail. The Franconia Notch Recreation Path runs the length of the Franconia Notch State Park in the White Mountain National Forest. Commonly called the Recreation Path, the 8.7-mile trail visits most of the park’s attractions, such as the Old Man of the Mountain Historic Site, Echo Lake, and Flume Gorge. The paved path roughly follows I-93 through the pass on flat-hilly terrain. Riding time will be approximately 4-7 hours. Shorter options are available.
