Who: This event is open to all ages. Must be able to hike over various terrain in snow for 3 miles within the time frame.

Description:

Bring some friends or family and come join us for a full moon Snowshoe
hike. We will be snowshoeing from the Pineland Farms Outdoor Center
down Muskrat Hollow to the River Valley Cabin where the group will enjoy a
lit firepit and great views of the Full Moon and the surrounding stars.
During this outing you will be learning how to use and hike in snowshoes,
how to read our trail maps and locate where you are on the trails, how to
prep for snowshoeing adventures, proper snowshoeing attire, responsible
leave no trace principals, Snowshoe etiquette, and much more!

Needed Gear:

Winter boots, Snow Jackets and Pants ( layers preferred), Hat and gloves, headlamp optional.
