Event Type: Outdoor Activity or at the Pineland Outdoor Center during inclement weather

Location: The New Outdoor Center at the new location (former YMCA) located at 25 Campus Dr. New Gloucester, ME

Fee: Free to all Veterans and Volunteers

Includes: Equipment, Facility/Trail Access, Training

Description: snow shoeing or xc skiing outdoors on the trails of Pineland (snow dependent), walking outdoors, or indoor activities such as bocce,
bowling, pickleball or WC Basketball depending on facility availability and interest of the veterans starting at 9am. Weekly programming is never canceled.

Special event: Wed. March 29 – a walk and tour of the Pineland Maple Sugar Shack. Learn the process of making maple syrup and sample some warm maple syrup over vanilla ice cream. Meet at 9am at the Outdoor Center, and we will walk to the Sugar Shack from there. For those with mobility issues, you can drive to the Sugar Shack. Contact Kristina for more information.

Directions: Follow GPS directions to the Outdoor Center (former YMCA) at 25 Campus Drive, New Gloucester, Me. The Pineland Campus is just off of Morse Road. Once on campus, go straight on Farm View Drive and follow to the top of the hill. Take a right at the top of the hill onto 25 Campus Drive and the Outdoor Center is right there.
