Maine Open Farm Day

Pre-registration Required.

Pre-registered passes are only needed to visit the Farm and participate in farm activities. All other events around campus and the Produce Division are open to the public without registration.

Description: Join us for OPEN FARM DAY as we celebrate Maine agriculture. Our 2 Hour Farm Visits will be FREE on this special day and there will be ongoing hands-on animal activities through out the day. Complimentary garden tours will be available in our perennial garden, and Pick Your Own will be open with berries and flowers available at the Pineland Produce Division.

It’s a great day to explore all that Pineland Farms has to offer as an agritourism destination in Maine!

Directions to the Valley Farm: Follow GPS directions to the Market & Welcome Center at 15 Farm View Dr. Continue past the Market on your right until you come to Valley Farm Rd on the left. Turn down Valley Farm Rd and continue until you come to the Smokehouse Visitor’s Center. The Smokehouse is a partially brick building with a tall white silo next to it. Park there and check in for your farm visit.
