Carpenter / Laborer

Pineland Farms Job Description – Carpenter/Laborer

Reports to: Outdoor Operations Supervisor

 

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work collaboratively, as well as independently, in a team-oriented environment. Self-motivation and a good attitude are our top priority.
  • Comfortable with a rapidly changing work environment.
  • Highly organized and strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge and experience with wood working power tools.
  • Mechanical aptitude—ability to troubleshoot and fix mechanical problems on equipment for wood working.
  • Very attentive to time-sensitive issues.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule (nights and weekends as required.)
  • Ability to lift/move heavy (up to 80 lbs) objects from the ground to chest height.
  •  Strong work ethic are a must.
  • Ability to interact with the public in a professional manner.
  • Must be 18 Years of age or older.
  • CDL a plus but not required.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

  • Working directly with Outdoor Recreation Department with a focus on carpentry.
  • All aspects of carpentry and painting.
  • Ability to operate trucks with trailer as well as tractor operation
  • Shop organization and cleaning.
  • Fence building and repair.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Pineland Farms Job Description – Groomer/Laborer

Reports to: Outdoor Operations Supervisor

 

Qualifications:

  • Comfortable with a rapidly changing work environment.
  • Highly organized and strong attention to detail.
  • Mechanical aptitude—ability to troubleshoot and fix mechanical problems on equipment for outdoor/landscaping use.
  • Familiarity with function planning and facility set-ups.
  • Very timely and attention to time-sensitive issues.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule (nights and weekends as required.)
  • Ability to lift/move heavy (up to 80 lbs) objects from the ground to chest height.
  • Strong work ethic is a must.
  • Ability to interact with the public in a professional manner.
  • Must be 18 Years of age or older.
  • CDL a plus but not required.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with winter trail grooming (snowmobile/ four wheeler operation with evening or night shifts required). Shoveling, pond clearing, and other winter-related activities.
  • Assist with retail ski shop and hosting of events and races as needed.
  • Trail work, grounds maintenance, chain sawing and mowing.
  • Ability to drive trucks with trailer as well as tractor operation
  • Shop organization and cleaning.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
