Family Programs

Family Programs at Pineland Farms

As we’re finding ways to safely reopen the farm to the public, our normal family programs will not be offered at this time but we will continue offering virtual programs to stay connected to each other from home as well as in person opportunities. Please see our Event Calendar at the bottom of this page.

-In addition to our new 2 Hour Farm Pass, which allows the public to visit in person, we now offer Guided Farm Tours for small groups of 10 people. Also see our Adult Programming for more options including Mushroom Walks with North Spore Mushrooms for groups of 20 people.

Virtual Classes on Zoom will be offered for activities that require materials and instruction. You must be able to pick up materials for these classes ahead of time. More information will be given once you purchase.

-Our popular Story Walk  is available for our visitors to participate in on their own. New stories will be posted every 2 weeks, for updates please check our Blog: Story Walk.

-Each Monday we’ll be sharing a new Story that you can watch with your family on Facebook & Instagram.

-On Wednesdays look for a new At Home Activity we’ll share on Facebook, Instagram & our Blog.

-And on Saturdays join us as we take a Virtual Tour of Pineland Farms. We’ll visit all of our favorite places and learn about our animals on the farm. Our Virtual Tours will be shared on Facebook & Instagram.

Family Programs are designed to educate and connect the community with the land through meaningful, hands-on exploration of agriculture, fields, and forests. Here at Pineland Farms we offer a variety of seasonal programming that is sure to engage children and adults of all ages.

Programs are $5 and located at the Education Barn unless otherwise noted. Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time to purchase tickets or pre-register for select family programs on our website. Tickets for drop-in programs are sold at the Education Barn for the increased convenience of our guests, cash or charge accepted. Please contact us with any questions at or 207.650.3031.
