Pre-registration Required. 

Description: Children aged 6 and up are invited to join us in the garden to discover what the summer harvest has to offer. Everyone will have the opportunity to explore the garden beds and sample a variety of produce. We will end the program with a picnic lunch — made from our own harvest! 

Ticket fee includes a self-guided farm pass for all family programs that occur during open farm hours, 9AM-4PM. Your self-guided farm pass must be utilized immediately before or after your program time.

Are you visiting with a group of 10 or more? Please contact the Education Dept before purchasing your tickets. 

Directions to Education Barn: Follow GPS directions to the Market at 15 Farm View Drive, New Gloucester, Maine. Continue past the Market on Farm View Drive and take your first left onto Valley Farm Rd. Follow Valley Farm Rd. until you see the Smokehouse Visitors Center (white silo) on the right-hand side. Take the right-hand turn immediately after the Smokehouse down to the Family Farmyard. The Education Barn is the largest barn in the farmyard.
