OUTDOOR RECREATION DEPARTMENT SEASONAL POSITIONS

The Pineland Farms Outdoor Recreation Department is looking for a hard working self-motivated individuals. This is a full-time seasonal position.

Job duties will require experience in the following areas:

·         Assisting in event preparation and support

·         Trail maintenance and grooming

·         Assist with Outdoor Center operations

·         Equipment operation and maintenance

·         Tree cutting and pruning

·         String trimming

·         Painting

·         Trail grooming

Salary: $15.00/hr

Job Requirements:

·         Must be physically fit and willing to work in all types of weather.

·         Must have current driver’s license.

·         Must be 18 years of age or older.

·         Ability to work collaboratively, as well as independently, in a team-oriented environment.

·         Must work well with and be comfortable with the public.

·         Willingness to work a flexible schedule nights and weekends.

SEASONAL PRODUCE HARVESTER AND PROCESSOR

The Pineland Farms Produce Farm Located on Mayall Road in New Gloucester is looking for help with our fall harvest and processing.  We harvest during morning hours so if you’re a morning person who likes working with your hands, this could be a great seasonal job for you!  We offer flexible schedules to fit in to an existing work/life as needed and would appreciate anywhere from 2-6 days a week of consistent help.

We’re currently harvesting and processing cucumbers, green beans, summer squash, and zucchini.  In the coming weeks we’ll also be harvesting hard squash and pumpkins.  The work days starts at 6am (will bump to 7am soon) to 2pm roughly, 6 days/week. The season will continue solid through October and reduce days into November.
