Monarch Butterflies at the Smokehouse
Over the next few weeks, when you check-in for a farm visit… Check out the monarch caterpillars at different stages of their life cycle!
The Education Department has set up a monarch display at the Smokehouse Visitor Center. This will be a great way for little ones to learn about metamorphosis and maybe even see the butterflies released on their journey to warmer climates.

Directions to the on farm Visitors Center: Follow GPS directions to the Market at 15 Farm View Drive, New Gloucester, Maine. Continue past the Market on Farm View Drive and take your first left onto Valley Farm Rd.
