🌟 Staff Spotlight: Sigrid Sibley
Educator, Musician, and Maine Storyteller
If you’ve visited the farm with little ones, chances are you’ve met Sigrid Sibley—one of the friendly faces leading educational programs here at Pineland Farms. Whether she’s guiding family farmyard tours or helping families explore nature, Sigrid brings creativity, warmth, and a deep love for Maine to everything she does.
But when she’s not in the classroom or out in the fields, Sigrid is also a singer-songwriter—and this spring, she hit an exciting milestone: the release of her debut album, Old Faithful Dreams, on May 30.
🎶 A Maine-Made Album
Rooted in folk traditions and personal storytelling, Old Faithful Dreams features 12 original songs recorded with local musicians at Dark Hollow Studios in Gray, Maine. The album reflects Sigrid’s upbringing in Poland Spring, where she grew up on a homestead surrounded by fruit trees, chickens, and creativity.
“With the release of the Old Faithful Dreams, I’ve seen my songs take on a new life. It’s exciting to watch people connect to the music, whether it’s my band playing along or the audience singing my lyrics. It brings community into music making.”
