StoryWalk at Pineland Farms

*StoryWalk is a 1-mile stroll on our trails while stopping to read along the way. The StoryWalk Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Vermont Bicycle and Pedestrian Coalition and the Kellogg-Hubbard Library.

This guided (free to the public) program is offered by the Education Department during the warmer months every Monday July-November 10am-11am. Pre-registration is required: (link coming soon!)

StoryWalk is also available as a self-guided option. We will be switching out our StoryWalk book approximately every 2 weeks. We hope you and the littles enjoy a walk in the woods and a book this summer.

StoryWalk begins near the disc golf courses across from the Market at 15 Farm View Dr. New Gloucester, ME. Look for the white sign pointing the way. Call education at 207.650.3031 with any questions.

During the winter months please be aware that the trail surfaces may be covered in ice or snow. Strollers may not be passable and skis or snowshoes may be recommended. Please visit the Outdoor & Fitness Center for rentals if needed.

Please use caution when enjoying Storywalk. This is a family-friendly trail.

StoryWalk at Pineland Farms offers story pages to read while walking a 1 mile path.
