Now’s your chance to pet a goat 🐐, see how maple syrup is made, and hit the xc ski trails at Pineland Farms.

Sugar House Trail ski & visit a goat at Pineland Farms

Come cross-country ski to a Sugar House in Maine. The Outdoor & Fitness Center has groomed the Sugar House Trail which connects Campus Loop to the Family Farmyard and Sugar House! While the snow lasts, your ski pass will also grant access to the farm to visit the animals and, if the sap is running, meet the Sugar Makers in action. The Sugar House is boiling when the open sign is out front!

 

If you can’t ski with us in the next couple weeks join us during Maple Week 2023 for a full week of boiling and Maple activities. How to find the Sugar House Trail?

Head to the Outdoor & Fitness Center for xc ski passes and rentals. The staff there can give you maps and directions to the Sugar House Trail or see the map below. #1 is the Outdoor Center location. Follow Campus Loop’s one way direction and continue to Cross-country ski to a Sugar House in Maine. Take off your ski’s and tour the farm!
