Story Walk

Posted in Education, Experience, Pineland News & Events on

Story Walk is a 1-mile stroll on our trails while stopping to read along the way. The Story Walk Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Vermont Bicycle and Pedestrian Coalition and the Kellogg-Hubbard Library.

Normally, this is a guided (Free to the Public) program that the Education Department offers in the warmer months. Due to the changes we’ve made this season we are offering Story Walk as a self guided option.

Our first Story Walk Book is “Hogwash” by  Karma Wilson. We will be switching out our Story Walk books every 2 weeks. We hope you and the littles enjoy a walk in the woods and book this summer.

Story Walk begins near the disc golf courses across from the Market at 15 Farm View Dr. New Gloucester, ME. Look for the yellow sign. Call education at 207.650.3031 with any questions.
