Understanding our Trail Report & Conditions:
Below you’ll find our written trail report that is updated each morning with information from our groomers and Outdoor Center staff about the overall conditions on our trails. As you scroll down our trail and activity conditions appear.
Green = trail or activity is Open
Red = trail or activity is Closed.
Groomed = Open for both skate & classic xc skiing.
Track = Classic XC skiing track is Open.
We also update each trail with notes for more specific details of conditions. If you have any questions please contact Recreation at 207.688.6599. To learn the difference between skate skiing & classic cross-country skiing as well as our Trail Etiquette & Safety, please see our blog.

Thursday, January 8, 2026
The groomers are out now laying down some fresh corduroy. Tried to let some of the moisture drain out of the snow before we groomed it. Arsenault Pond Trail is open to get to The Market for parking and food.
The Oak Hill system is open and in very good shape. There will be a middle school race at Oak Hill this afternoon at 3:30.
Campus loop is open but very thin. There are a few lumpy areas where we have moved snow.
All other trails remain closed until we get more snow.
The skating rink is open.
Trail passes can be purchased in person at the Market and Welcome Center. We look forward to seeing you on the trails!
